about

ME

I have studied the art of transformation through the consistent practice of yoga and holistic wellness since 1988. In 1993, I received my BA in Movement Therapy and Women’s Health Issues from Prescott College. Throughout my career I have guided yoga students around the world in the art of physical, mental, and spiritual transformation. I lead local classes on Mount Desert Island in Maine, weekend intensives, and international retreats.

I am a mother of three sons and have been married for 23 years to my partner Christopher. Recently, I have been integrating learning about the importance of regulating the autonomic nervous system into my teaching through studying biodynamic and somatic healing therapies with Anna Chitty, and the late John Chitty, the Co-Founders of the Colorado School of Energy Studies. I have completed a two year course, Body Into Being, in Ojai, California, learning about and practicing repairing bonding and attachment styles in the body. I am now enrolled in a 2-year training learning to become a biodynamic cranio-sacral practitioner.

Currently, I teach classes in person at Volta Climbing and private sessions online and in person in Maine.
